We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Professional Counselor to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in mental health counseling and demonstrate a commitment to providing high-quality care to individuals facing various challenges. Also has experience with eating disorders, children, teens, families and couples.

 

This role involves working with clients to develop effective treatment plans, facilitate therapeutic sessions, and support their journey toward improved mental health and well-being.

Job Type: 

Pay:

  • Full-time, Contract, Internship

  • $80.00 - $100.00 per hour

Expected Hours:

  • 10 – 40 per week

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' mental health needs and develop individualized treatment plans.

  • Provide psychotherapy services, including individual and group therapy sessions, tailored to the unique needs of each client.

  • Utilize evidence-based practices in counseling, including techniques for chronic pain counseling and addiction counseling.

  • Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards.

  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care for clients.

  • Facilitate group therapy sessions, fostering a supportive environment for participants.

  • Stay informed about medical terminology and behavioral health trends to enhance the quality of care provided.

  • Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in the field.

Requirements:

  • Valid state licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) or equivalent.

  • Strong knowledge of medical records management and documentation practices.

  • Experience in psychotherapy, group therapy, and individual counseling techniques.

  • Familiarity with chronic pain counseling, addiction counseling, special education, and applied behavior analysis is preferred.

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in maintaining client records.

  • Commitment to ethical practice and adherence to confidentiality standards.
